Calcium Chloride

Offered in flake and pellet form, this tried and true dust suppressant contains a minimum of 77% CaCl2 active ingredients. Pre-wetting the road with water is suggested for best results. CaCl2 Flake for dust control is available in super sacks (2,000-2,205lbs each) and in 50-pound bags by the truckload. Our DowflakeXtra product is a whopping 83% active calcium chloride horsepower and is priced at the same price as our 77% calcium chloride flake, which makes for a great value. We offer Dowflake in bulk pressure differential trucks and in “FIBCs”(flexible intermediate bulk containers). We do not offer dump trucks of calcium chloride flake because it is too hygroscopic and in most cases would be a large crusted and lumpy pile by the time the truck arrived, even on a short haul. Magnesium Chloride

Offered in flake, crystal, pastille, half sphere, and pellet forms, this tried and true dust suppressant contains half the chlorides pound for pound of competing products like calcium chloride, brines quickly without wetting, and is environmentally preferred in sensitive watershed and wetland areas. MgCl2 Flake for dust control is available in super sacks (2,205 lbs) and in 50-pound bags by the truckload. We do not offer dump trucks of our magnesium chloride flake because, like calcium chloride, it is too hygroscopic.
