Magnesium Chloride

We stock several grades and types of dry magnesium chloride anhydrous, magnesium chloride hexahydrate, and liquid magnesium chloride solution. Magnesium chloride occurs naturally from surface sources like the Dead Sea, the Great Salt Lake, and from deep underground, highly pure bischofite reserves in the Netherlands and Germany.

Typically, when magnesium chloride is found in nature, it is in a liquid form and usually coupled with other mineral salts such as potassium chloride (potash), sodium chloride (salt brine), and calcium chloride. These natural brines frequently provide the feedstock for the processes that produce magnesium chloride as a by-product as the other minerals are removed and processed for their respective markets.

We stock Food Grade, Feed Grade GMP+ certified, and Technical Grade magnesium chlorides. These materials are available in dry and liquid forms and have packaging that ranges from 50 lb. poly bags to 2,000 + lb. super sacks for dry and 265 IBC totes to full 4,300 gallon tankers for liquid.

Liquid has become a large portion of the deicing market and is used either to apply directly to surfaces, or to enhance the performance of dry products. Please contact us to discuss the various concentration levels and appropriate application process.
